The Mill

1.  PARTIES
These Terms and Conditions bind Adventure & Computer Holidays Limited (“the Company”) and those persons (“the Client”) booking a Holiday Adventure (“the Holiday”) with the Company at the relevant centre referred to on the website or in correspondence (“the Activity Centre”).

2.  PAYMENT
(a)  Deposit - Payment of the deposit is regarded as the Client’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and is non refundable.
(b)  Full Payment - Full payment of the outstanding amount must be made one month prior to commencement of the holiday.
(c)  Late Payment and Returned Cheques - A £15 charge will be made on any cheque returned by the Company’s Bank. In the event of any default in making payments in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the Company shall charge an additional £10 to cover its administration expenses and this charge will be in addition, and without prejudice, to the Company’s other rights and remedies arising from the Client’s default. Any account left unsettled by the last day of an activity holiday will be subject to a £10 administration fee.
(d) Once the dates of a holiday have been confirmed, they may not be changed or carried over without financial forfeit.  

3.  CANCELLATION OF BOOKING
Cancellation of any booking must be in writing and is subject to the following charges: 
(a) Cancellation more than one month before the holiday - loss of deposit
(b) Cancellation less than one month before the holiday - loss of full cost of holiday

4.  CUSTOMER PROTECTION
Please ensure that you have adequate insurance cover for your child & be aware that most insurance policies do not cover for cancellation. In the event of cancellation, the company offers no reimbursement or transfer but details of a Leisure Insurance Policy can be provided, on request. (Adventure & Computer Holidays Ltd is an introducing appointed representative of Travel Insurance Facilities Plc. Travel Insurance Facilities Plc, trading as Infinity Insurance Solutions, is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority).

5.  ADMINISTRATION CHARGES
If the Client should require a further copy of our letter confirming booking details, a replacement will be issued at a charge of £15 to cover our administration costs.

6.  E.C. DIRECTIVE ON PACKAGE HOLIDAYS
In compliance with E.C. Directive on Package Holidays and Package Tours (article 7), Adventure & Computer Holidays Limited will place any money received in payment for Residential Holidays into a Trust Account in the name of Adventure & Computer Holidays Limited and held at Barclays Bank, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1AN.  The Directive ensures that in the event of Company insolvency before your holiday has been taken, all money paid over remains secure for your refund.

7.  SAFETY & WELL BEING
(a) The Company reserves the right to exclude or refuse participation to any person who at any time prior to or during the holiday in our sole opinion is incompatible with the general safety and well being of the Activity Centre and the other participants.  In this event no refund will be given.
(b) Any child who is suffering from an infectious disease or who is unwell, should not attend.

8.  ACTIVITIES
(a)  Off-site activities - On booking a holiday, the Client accepts that certain activities may take place away from the Activity Centre and consents to their children leaving the Activity Centre on organised excursions and off-site activities.
(b)  Programme of activities - In sending a child on a holiday run by Adventure & Computer Holidays Ltd, the parent/guardian agrees that the participant may take part in any of the activities advertised on the website. Arrangements outlined are given in good faith at the time of being uploaded.  However, the Company reserves the right to alter or cancel the programme or course of activities for reasons of safety, weather, travel arrangements, general programme planning and other factors which may arise beyond the company’s control, including the unavailability of instructors.

9.  FORCE MAJEURE
No compensation will be paid or refund given for any cancellation or changes made to the holiday by the Company which is brought about by war, strikes, disaster, terrorist activity, technical problems with transportation, quarantine, weather or any other cause outside the Company’s control.

10.  JURISDICTION
This contract is made in the jurisdiction of England and Wales and in any dispute the law of England and Wales will apply.

11.  LIABILITY
Save where caused by negligence on the part of the Company or its employees, the Company shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage to luggage, clothing or other personal effects, or for any personal injury or for any consequential loss or damage arising from such loss.

12.  LOST PROPERTY
Adventure & Computer Holidays will do their utmost to return lost property that is named.   Any items not reclaimed after one month will be donated to charity shops.

13.  PHOTOGRAPHS
(a) The copyright of all photography appearing on the website or in leaflets belongs to Adventure & Computer Holidays Ltd.  No reproduction may be made without prior permission from the Company.
(b) Please inform Adventure and Computer Holidays Ltd in writing if you do not want your child to be photographed. It may be used on the website, Friday leaflets or enewsletters.

14.  PAYMENT FROM OVERSEAS
In those cases where payment is made through a foreign bank, both parties’ bank charges shall be borne by the customer. 15.  OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education)
Adventure and Computer Holidays Ltd is governed by OFSTED and operates to a strict code of practice. Copies of the company code of practice, operating procedures and risk assessments are available on request, as are all of the following policies; anti-bullying, behaviour management, complaints, equal opportunities, failure of a parent/carer to collect a child, fire precautions and proceedures, health and safety, infection control, medical, missing child, safeguarding children. 16.  COMPLAINTS
Adventure & Computer Holidays Ltd is committed to providing an excellent holiday experience for your child. If, however, you or your child are not entirely happy with our provision, we would like to know. If you have a complaint, please inform a member of our management team, by telephoning or writing, as soon as is practical. We undertake to investigate and respond by telephone and/or in writing. If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may wish to contact Ofsted at 0300 123 1231.
